Accounting
Most of our business clients need only prepare special purpose financial statements, which are accounts prepared for a limited group of users which need not comply with many of the disclosure requirements of larger entities. We also prepare general purpose financial statements which fully comply with the relevant financial reporting framework and accounting standards, where required.
We also undertake engagements in the following areas:
- Assisting with issues associated with buying and selling businesses, including valuation methodologies and inherent tax liabilities.
- Accounting for GST.
- Assisting foreign companies with their Australian reporting and compliance requirements.
- Assisting parties to family law proceedings in establishing the net asset pool for division between the parties and providing advice as to valuation issues concerning business assets and taxation obligations.
- Liaison with client bookkeepers and assistance with any day-to-day issues arising.
